Struggle and Success of the Life of Lungu
Rev. Dr. Edward Kavimba Lungu

Life for the author was anything but easy. Growing up in unprivileged conditions, he had to face adversaries such as poverty, ignorance, and illiteracy. These three are undoubtedly the worst enemies of humankind on earth, but Lungu knew better. He was determined to fight all of these hindrances. Fortunately, his new father brought him to school. Now able to read by himself, he eventually studied the Bible, which opened up his life forever.
However, he experienced a phase in his life where he struggled in matters of faith and religion—until he met Jesus. But things did not remain to be perfect, he struggled again with sadness and sorrow when his first wife died. In that darkest hour, he found himself touched by the Holy Spirit in a very special way. Success came to Lungu when he continued with his education and worked in many jobs in the United States.
The African Way: Struggle and Success of the Life of Lungu follows the author’s many plights toward achieving the life he only dreamed of. Today, with the help of many friends and a new family in America, Lungu is able to live with content and happiness in the land of milk and honey, America. Share in his journey and believe that hope will bring success to those who work hard and keep their faith strong.
